Assessment management for social investment projects of an industry company

Abstract:
The article presents the author’s developed methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of social investment projects (by the example of a health care project of an industry corporation), based on the concept of eliminating the shortcomings in existing methodological approaches, such as the “cost-effectiveness†method and the “cost-benefit†method. The author’s system of indicators for assessing the social effect, as well as the author’s approach to the monetization of social effects are the basis of the methodological approach. The research made it possible to elaborate an algorithm for assessing the socio-economic efficiency of social investment projects based on the author’s methodological approach. The transfer of social effects expressed in natural units of change into monetary terms increased the accuracy of socio-economic efficiency assessment considering the total social effect.
