The German “economic miracle†of 1933-1938 and economic heritage of Weimar. Historical and economic analysis

Abstract:
The present article is devoted to the study of the Weimar Republic heritage influencing the Germany’s economy escape from the depression during the Nazi regime. The author argues that the crisis overcoming was caused mainly by reduction of import. The development of housing and industrial construction was launched, as the author argues, in the times of Weimar. The Nazi regime borrowed principles of budgetary discipline from Weimar Germany. The author presents data from German documents previously not published and attracted much attention of researchers.
