Abstract:
The article considers the development trends of oil and gas industry in Russia, the main problems of functioning of the complex, examines the effect of various factors on the development of the industry, including and the imposition of financial sanctions in the spectrum of the latest developments in the global community. The main directions of strategic development of the sector within the framework of import substitution are outlined.
