Abstract:
One of the most important tools for promoting exports in a country is export credit insurance. In this study, the answer to the question of how export credit insurance provided by Eximbanks in order to encourage countries’ exports affects country exports was looked for. Panel Data Analysis was applied to 22 high-income countries. As a result of Panel Data Analysis, it has been revealed that both short- and medium-long term export insurance effect exports significantly in the positive direction. Medium-long term export insurance seems to be more influential than short-term export insurance.
