Abstract:
Subject of this study is the regulations beneficial to accelerate Turkey's transition to green economy, fulfilment of commitments under the Paris Climate Agreement, and alternative monetary and credit policy proposals that can be implemented within the framework of sustainable finance. National and international regulations and policy implementations in various countries, particularly in the European Union, are analysed, and policies to create a sustainable economy are listed, taking into account the structural and institutional constraints in Turkey. It is also concluded that process monitoring and impact analyses should be carried out regularly in order to ensure the success of the policies.
