IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF INDEPENDENCE OF INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS IN RUSSIAN COMPANIES

Abstract: The article draws attention to the formality of independent directors in Russian corporations and the need to improve the quality of their independence. Disclosed the necessary personal and professional qualities of independent directors, especially their relationship with the owners and managers of corporations. The author suggests ways of improving the system of remuneration of board directors of Russian companies.
