Abstract: The article discusses a new approach to the development of criteria and indicators for assessing the sustainability of the corporation. Sustainability is regarded as one of the three integral characteristics of corporations, standing alongside the activity and efficiency. Common vision of sustainability of the corporation as the ratio of its core and border is considered. The variants of design indicators is proposed, and the common assumption about the optimal range of their values is made.
