Business Strategies, 2014, issue 2
Abstract:
Countries began to evaluate national achievements (effectiveness and efficiency) using gross domestic product (GDP) and gross national product (GNP) after the Second World War. Currently, GDP and GNP are increasingly criticized by economists and politicians in the four main aspects. The necessity to modernize approaches to systematic assessment of economic performance is evident.
