Thanks to the introduction of geotechnology - Mining 4.0 (Industry 4.0 in the mining industry), including such modern digital technologies as deserted robotic complexes of mining and quarry equipment, ubiquitous digital telemetry, the Internet of Things and machine-to-machine communications, digital 3D modeling and artificial intelligence in the mining industry becomes a high-tech production. The author analyzed the forms of penetration of Industry 4.0 technologies into the mining industries and the international experience of using Mining 4.0, showing the advantages of the further development of geotechnology in a new technological era and the economic effect of their use.
