“SPATIAL ECONOMY†AND “REGIONAL ECONOMYâ€: SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES OF THE CONCEPTS

Abstract: In the paper the features of concepts “spatial economy†and “regional economy†are considered. By results of the analysis of the scientific literature on the given theme two approaches to definition of these concepts - activity and branch ones are allocated. Both concepts are characterized from the point of view of each of these approaches, between them the basic features of similarity and distinctions are allocated.Â
