DIGITALIZATION OF THE WORK OF METALLURGICAL ENTERPRISES AS THE BASIS OF THEIR FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

Abstract: Modernization of industrial enterprises in order to increase their financial performance is one of the primary tasks of any state. One of the decisive success factors for the sectors of the national economy is the use of digital technologies. The article substantiates the relevance of digitalization of ferrous metallurgy enterprises, clarifies the specifics of these processes for this industry, identifies and characterizes the main problems and obstacles to digitalization of domestic and global enterprises in the metallurgical industry; revealed their digital potential, quantitative and qualitative capabilities; the value chain of a digital metallurgical enterprise has been investigated. A holistic approach to large-scale digital transformation of the business model of a metallurgical enterprise is characterized.
