Abstract: Leadership in research and development, a high rate of mastering new knowledge, and the creation of innovative products are the result of the implementation of scientific and technological activities, the development of which is influenced by a number of factors. The purpose of the article is to systematize the factors influencing the development of scientific and technological activities in the region. As a result of the study, factors for the development of scientific and technological activities were identified, and their systematization was carried out.
