Russia in the world market of fish and seafood

Abstract:
The article represents the analysis of the place of Russia in the world market of fish and seafood and its evolution from 1992 to the present time. The study of world and Russian market of fish and seafood is based on the sequential analysis of its main elements: production, consumption and trade of fish and seafood. This article considers market structure by types of products, comparing it with other participants. In connection with a food embargo in mid-2014 against a number of developed countries happened spatial and qualitative changes in trade flows, have changed the basic trading partners of Russia in the market of fish and seafood that is also reflected in the article.
