Abstract: The article looks into the problem of forming personal competitiveness of students during the study at the university. Authors analyze theoretical approaches and practical tools used at the Russian universities. The article presents authors’ approach to developing overall university system of forming personal competitiveness of students allowing to use interdisciplinary approach for achieving maximal effect. Implementation of suggested approach allows future graduates to use their competitive potential in the process of professional training in the most effective way.
