Abstract: As concerns over water quality and scarcity intensify globally, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into water management systems has emerged as a promising solution. This comprehensive review examines the pivotal role of AI in the detection and removal of contaminants from water sources. Through an exploration of cutting-edge technologies, machine learning algorithms, and their applications, this review provides insights into the current state, challenges, and future prospects of AI-driven approaches in water quality management.
