Abstract: Background: Diabetes complications are preventable given a supportive environment. Managing diabetes daily requires confidence which can be effectively done with effective support system. The information and health services received by diabetics are vital to empowerment as it enables them to make correct choices for better outcomes. The aims of this study were to examine patients’ confidence in self-managing diabetes and its relationship to the level of information and available diabetes related services received in the State of Qatar.
