Abstract: Intracystic papillary carcinoma (IPC), is an infrequent variant of non-invasive breast tumors, comprising only around 0.5%-1% of all mammary carcinomas. Even though it has a non-aggressive biological behaviour and a notable long-term prognosis, there is no general agreement in terms of therapeutic management, the tendency being to avoid adjuvant therapies such as radiotherapy.
