In this article it’s analyzed the model of stress and coping to examine the cancer survivors’ self-reported efforts to manage stress and their consequences for health. The use of some coping strategies might be helpful to extend survival time and the understanding of these coping strategies it’s very important, so negative and positive coping styles are described. During cancer, coping strategies adopted by patients and their partner have an effect on their own emotional state and quality of life, so these findings highlight the importance of further investigating also this topic.
