Abstract:
Obstructed labor is still major causes of maternal morbidity and mortality and adverse out comes for new born in low income countries. It is one of the common preventable causes of maternal and prenatal morbidity and mortality in developing countries. Africa has the highest maternal mortality in the world estimated at an average of about 1000 deaths per 100,000 live births.
