Abstract: The etiological traits, respectively the intensity of clinical manifestation of dental caries are influenced and coordinated predominantly not by the bacterial genotype of cariogenic microorganisms, but by their phenotypic features in the context of various environmental factors. According to the Global Burden of Disease report the point of issue of non-treated tooth decay lesions in permanent teeth is still actual in international scales. Non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs are characterized with wide range of application in dental medicine practice. The implementation of these medicines is related to the process of suppression of arachidonic acid metabolism by cyclo-oxygenase pathway of reactions.
