Abstract: Supporting students through learning to reach goals of success should be a priority for educators in all realms of academia. Encouraging participation, advocacy, accountability, and partnership development are excellent strategies to implement into research and scholarship activities. From professional involvement with students participatory experiences have led to engagement, recognition, and awareness of the building of partnerships essential for constructing knowledge.
