Abstract:
The new RFID technology will be, perhaps, the substitute for the linear and 2D barcodes. This because RFID tags have some advantages like: the possibility to read their information from distance without errors, a greater resistance to counterfeiting, a greater capacity to store information. This article presents a solution proposed by the author for implementing this technology in a hypermarket.
