Abstract:
In the current conditions of high entrepreneurial phenomenon at international level, it is important to make an analysis for obtaining an accurate current development stage of Romanian entrepreneurship at local and regional level, which is also a prerequisite for development and implementation of strategic measures of entrepreneurship development in Romania. Through statistical analysis and questionnaire survey, this study provides a clear radiography of entrepreneurship development status and evolution of SMEs in the South East region. The study results can be used to propose further measures to support local and regional entrepreneurship and the research methodology can be applied later to others regions and even at national level.
