Digital Transformation During Lockdown

Ioan Dragan ()

Informatica Economica, 2021, vol. 25, issue 1, 86-93

Abstract: This paper presents some preliminary findings of the digital transformation methodology inno-vation research done as part of the PhD studies. The COVID-19 pandemic changed the way we work and a large majority of the companies found themselves not prepared to move to a full remote or hybrid workforce model. Traditional software platforms and components are not de-signed for remote use, nor offer the right information protection and governance features. This paper presents a study of how business executives see the future workplace and a methodology for short term mitigation and long-term planning in the context of hybrid workplace.
