Economic and Social Development in Africa and the Russian-Ukraine Conflict

Abstract: Since September 2015, nation-states, corporations, and non-profit organizations have been working to protect the future for future generations based on the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations General Assembly. These goals were established based on the need to ensure sustainable development for the current and future generations. These goals were developed to make the planet a more sustainable place for generations to come. One factor, however, that has the potential to erase all the achievements that the international community has achieved throughout the battle, Africa in particular is the Russia Ukraine War. Considering this context, the purpose of the present study is to investigate the feasible strategies and concepts that could support Africa in guaranteeing that there is social and economic advancement even after the conclusion of the conflict. The conclusion of the research report provided an overview of the strategies that can be implemented to ensure that economic and social development continues to occur in Africa despite the ongoing violence.
