Abstract:
This paper outlines the concepts and key features of Food Convergence Innovations (FCI) which positions itself as a platform of platforms ecosystem. FCI aims to drive the conversations and collaborations to accelerate a world reset from Economic Convergence (i.e. The Rest converging with the West) to Convergence Economy – one where human health, planetary health, and sustained, inclusive prosperity can be achieved. This approach is being advanced in the context of a serious food crisis, which is triggered by myriads of interconnected causes and events which were compounded by climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic.
