Abstract:
The present work aims to contribute to the debate on the importance of public investment in infrastructure and planning for the growth of the economy, espe‑ cially in the transportation sector. The rapid recovery of investments by the go‑ vernment in the last decade have contributed to the expansion of public invest‑ ment and the induction of investments from the private sector, mainly from 2007 with the launch of PAC consisting of coordinated actions between the public and private sectors in order promote investments in infrastructure in order to elimi‑ nate the existing bottlenecks in our economy, especially in the transport sector, to long forgotten, but suddenly became urgent agenda of the government in order to increase business productivity, generate multiplier effects, accelerate private sector investment and reduce regional inequalities.
