Abstract:
In semi-arid areas, efficiency of water use is a major factor in planning for economic development and growth. Knowledge of the price elasticity of demand for water in the area may be of assistance in establishing water allocation policy. Estimation of water price elasticity in Las Vegas, Nevada using the interview approach was the objective of this analysis.
