Abstract:
For several years the farm machinery industry magazine Implement and Tractor has pointed to an increase in the horsepower of tractors sold in the United States (I & T Annual Survey). As farms have become larger, farmers have apparently demanded larger tractor units to insure continued timeliness of field operations.
