Abstract: The first objective of this paper is to present balance sheet information pertaining to dairy farms as published in several different states and as an incidental benefit make you aware of the several sources from which this information is available. The second objective is to present some of the ways farm management specialists and agricultural economists are currently analyzing dairy farm balance sheets. I have made no attempt to analyze or pass judgment on the data presented; let us do that together during the discussion.
