Joe Dewbre and Leroy Blakeslee

No 277826, 1979 Annual Meeting, July 29-August 1, Pullman, Washington from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)

Abstract: Procedures are developed for forecasting weekly cash prices for white wheat and the basis separating white wheat prices and Midwest futures prices. Forecast variances of each are supplied. A procedure is developed for choosing from among marketing options having uncertain outcomes. Operating results are simulated for the 1972/73-1977/78 storage seasons.
