DESCRIBING AND IDENTIFYING THE COMPLETE SET OF STOCHASTICALLY EFFICIENT MIXTURES OF RISKY ALTERNATIVES*

No 278551, 1985 Annual Meeting, August 4-7, Ames, Iowa from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)

Abstract: Target MOTAD illustrates one strategy for computing stochastically efficient mixtures. For many applications, it may be the best method. However, it does not always identify all stochastically efficient mixtures. A method which can do this is proposed. It is explained by applying it to data from Anderson, Dillon and Hardaker.
