Abstract:
Recent research and data are analyzed to examine the linkages between agricultural trade and prices, the exchange rate and monetary and financial variables. World currency reserves, bank liabilities, and money, and U.S. money and the Federal debt are found to have important roles in exchange rate, price and trade determination.
