Abstract: Counties employing the Variable Cost-Share Level option are compared with those employing uniform rate cost sharing in West Tennessee in 1984 with regard to public cost per ton of erosion reduction, type of practices applied, erosiveness of land treated, total cost per acre treated and average cost-share rate.
