Abstract:
11Tariffication11, essentially the replacing of quantitative restrictions with equivalent tariffs, was · originally included in the 1988 U.S. proposal to the negotiating group on agriculture in the current round (Ur.uguay) of multilateral trade talks. This paper presents the concept, the issues and an application to the EC wheat market.
