The Importance of Political Markets in Formulating Economic Policy Recommendations

Abstract: The impact of incomplete modeling, both economic and political, are - examined. It is shown that neglecting the political market in which policies are adopted can lead to larger errors than ignoring the connections between policies that are interrelated.
