G. Grant Giesler, Kenneth W. Paxton and E. P. Millhollon

No 271255, 1991 Annual Meeting, August 4-7, Manhattan, Kansas from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)

Abstract: Cover crops can help reduce the negative environmental impacts of cotton production. This study used Generalized Stochastic Dominance to evaluate the relative worth, via risk premiums, of four cover crop regimes and two conventional production practices. Results indicate that cover crop regimes may be feasible alternatives to conventional practices.
