AGRICULTURAL USE OF THE SNOWY WATERS: III: AGRICULTURAL ASPECTS

R.W. Prunster

Australian Journal of Agricultural Economics, 1960, vol. 04, issue 01, 9

Abstract: Some attempt is made in this paper to sketch in some of the factors in land utilisation that have had to be considered in planning to utilise the Snowy Waters for irrigation in the Murrumbidgee Valley. Following this some comments are made on the gaps in knowledge of soils, agronomy, crop utilisation, farm economics and management that have made the task of planners more difficult.
