PRICE COMPETITION IN THE JAPANESE WOOL TEXTILE INDUSTRY

R.P. Byron

Australian Journal of Agricultural Economics, 1965, vol. 09, issue 2, 11

Abstract: Although much work has been done on the long-term income and substitution effects on wool consumption, little information is available on the short-term price effects in any wool market. The aim of this paper is to introduce the latter topic for consideration using a model of the Japanese wool textile market.
