Adoption of Rice Crop Technology in Barabanki District: Constraints and Remedies

Abstract: In Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh 250 respondents were studied on their faced constraints and suggested measures over technology adopted in rice crop by Probability proportion to size and Random sampling method between ATMA and non-ATMA farmers. Descriptive statistics was used to draw and interpret the results from the collected data. Results stated that the most serious constraints were perceived by the majority of trained farmers and non-trained farmers both. It was suggested that proper information dissemination and low-cost input use should be adopted for profitable agriculture and improving socio-economic condition of rural India.
