Abstract:
In price analysis product prices are related to prices c.q. unit costs of production factors by means of technical coefficients. Statistical information about price indices is available relatively quickly. There is, however, for recent periods a lack of data for calculating the technical coefficients. In this paper a sector model is described in which technical coefficients depend on prices. The actual estimation of the model will be the subject of a subsequent paper.
