Abstract:
Agricultural Export is regarded as the main axis of economic development, plays a remarkable role in non-Oil export development and currency income. Therefore, reviewing Factors affecting agricultural exports supply seems imperative. In this study, Factors affecting agricultural exports are reviewed using time series analysis and is analyzed with Auto-Regressive Distributed Lag Estimates (ARDL). Data used in this study were collected from various sources including FAO Site, Iranian Central Bank and World Bank for the period of 1970 to 2008. Results indicate that long-term relationship exists between agricultural exports supply and other variables, all variables are significant. World real GDP and exchange rate had positive impact and other factors had negative impact on Iranian exports of agricultural products. In addition, the short-term relationship results indicate that of about 55 percent of short-term deviations were adjusted by long-term equilibrium value of exports.
