Abstract:
In this paper, causes of changes in the curriculum and duration of course of undergraduate level agricultural economics education at various points in time have been analysed. Deficiencies and inconsistencies in. the present curriculum and syllabus are enumerated and it is suggested that substantial changes in both curriculum and syllabus have to be made to make teaching more effective and useful.
