Abstract:
This paper is a joint output of DEXIA/T.R.E.D.U. DEXIA is the Dominican Export Import Agency. It is a new Statutory Goverment Board, which was set up on July lst, 1986. One of its main roles is to stimulate exports of Dominican goods. TREDU is the Training, Research, Extension and Development Unit. It is a Pilot Project, based in the South Eastern District of Dominica, where Extension Staff and French Technical Assistants work jointly. This paper presents the general marketing context in Dominica and a specific marketing experience in the South Eastern District of Dominica.
