Harmonization of legislation on food safety in Serbia according to the European legislation

Abstract:
Safe food is imperative for the modern market. Safe food means that the process which produced a safe and controlled primarily in the context of the plan of analysis and critical and control points that are under constant surveillance in order to process, if necessary, correct it and got a health safety product. Serbia is in previous period of time made great progress in terms of adapting legislation on food safety, the Act on food safety and applied already passed acts relating to this very important area. The aim of this paper is to review the legislation on safety from the point of consulting experience and problem associated with these activities, with emphasis on primary production.
