Abstract:
This paper shows the economic and regional disparities in income in Switzerland. There are two principal kinds of interesting disparity : disparity between agriculture and the other sectors of the economy on the one hand and between farmer's income in different regions on the other hand. The study deals with the impact of agricultural policy in these regions and shows new measures of regional policy to provide migration from the rural and marginal regions of the country. There is a combination of measures proposed : An agricultural policy taking into consideration the comparative advantage in land use in different regions and the conservation of villages making possible a life for their inhabitants in a socio-economic balance.
