Abstract:
The art and science of econometrics needs an important set of statistical and numerical methods. Some of them are specific to the particular field of econometrics. This paper emphasizes several packages. Choosing among them is a difficult task. Therefore we are giving some guidelines. An other important question regards data banks. We are presenting a specific package specially designed for linking economic data with econometric programs.
