Le problème de la fusion de coopératives agricoles aux Etats-Unis
Hugh Cook
Économie rurale, 1965, vol. 64
Abstract:
It is the policy of the U.S. Government to encourage the jormation and growth of agricultural cooperatives. Problems of personalities and of finances must be overcome before cooperatives may merge. The larger ones may have legal problems under anti-trust laws. Efficiency is one requirement of success from integration. It appears likely that the current merger movement may eclipse all previous ones in terms of dura' tion, number of firms acquired and assets of acqui red companies.
