Une statistique agricole est-elle possible en France ?

Gérard Théodore

Économie rurale, 1966, vol. 69

Abstract: The degrading of agricultural statistics has become obvious. Which are its distant and present causes ? In order to fight against this . deficiency and to face the growing needs, an effort of innovation is necessary as to the nature of, the studies, the survey procedures, the general program of, investigation and the place of the agricultural statistician in the research agencies and institutions. Such an action demands a qualified staff and credits. The different needs for information, the periodicity , of the regular surveys and the need for a rapid diffusion of the data should be taken into account.
