Abstract: Although the outcome of the Kennedy Round is still uncertain, the discussions have at least thrown light on the basic data : the existence of national agricultural policies and their effects on trade, The European Economic Community and the impacts of its common agricultural policy, the problems of the underdeveloped countries and finally the complexity of the international trade with agricultural products.
